Overall the app is good and delivers the information without distracting graphics. With that said, if you have a range Circle and lightning is detected in that Circle there is no way to know if the storm is moving away from you and developing or, passing through parallel to you. The only way to know is if the radar shows animation with the particular cell that triggered the lightning detector. If the feature is added it would be a great upgrade and 5 STARS..

A good app. I'm responsible for lightning alerts at work. I appreciate that you can set the desired notification radius and frequency. Being able to click on a strike and see how long ago it occurred is nice. Two requests: please include the radius display on the main map in the Android version. I see the iphone version has this. Also, please change the notification radius setting control from a slider to a number input. The slider is clumsy.

Thank you for your feedback. The radius display on the main map has been added and will be available in a new update by the end of the week. I will look into the slider issue you mentioned.

I really like this app. I had previously installed a weather app just for the lightning alerts. It had so many ads it was hard to see the info & it used so much data in just a short time, so I uninstalled it & found this one & it is great. The lightning alerts are fast & has a lot of settings to customize. I just wish it at least would specify(N,S,E,W & in between) or show the direction the storms are going-with arrows or something. A thunder/lightning sound for an alert sound would be nice too!
